Who are we?

What data do we process and why?

We never sell your data and do not send you advertising without your consent.
Who do we share data with?
Only with parties that help us, and only what is needed:
- Our hosting provider (servers in the European Union) and Microsoft 365 (e-mail).
- Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent), YouTube (only when you allow external media) and the Google Places API to show our Google reviews. No visitor data is sent to Google for those reviews.
- OpenStreetMap Foundation (maps, only when you allow external media).
- Cloudflare (spam protection of the forms, if enabled).
- Our credit partner, only when you request financing.
- Professional buyers in our closed trade portal: if you offer us your car, we may show the car's details and photos to get a bid, without your name, contact details or licence plate.
Our cars are also listed on AutoScout24; we import the data of our own cars from there. The website links to Car-Pass (mileage history of a car). When you follow such a link, you leave our website and that party's privacy policy applies.
Some of these parties (Google, Microsoft) may process data outside the EU, with the safeguards of the GDPR such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep your data?
- Requests through the website: 24 months after the last contact, then they are deleted automatically.
- Data of a purchase or sale: as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Portal accounts: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Statistics (Google Analytics): 14 months at most.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to take it with you (portability). You can withdraw a consent at any time, for example through the cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Send your request to info@kubika-cars.be; we will answer within one month.
Not satisfied? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (https). Photos and data you send us are only visible to our staff.
